Today, we’d like to share some information on the upcoming Ver.16.1 update.

Plus, we’ll be looking back at the past 12 years, announcing some planned future updates, and sharing a promo code that can be redeemed on the Web Store to claim free Rainbow Gems!

Regarding Update Ver.16.1

First, let’s talk about the update.
The Ver.16.1 update is scheduled to be implemented on Monday, July 13th (PST)!
This time around, the Pirate King Adventures will be getting an update!

●Border Challenge Coming to the Pirate King Adventures!
Players who defeat the final boss of the map at least 1 time during the event will be eligible to participate in the Border Challenge!
Players will be assigned a “Border” ranging from Border 1 to Border 6 based on the total Defeat Lv. of two Battle Hexes and one Boss Hex that appear during the event. Rewards will be determined by the Border held when the event ends. The higher your Border, the better the rewards!
Your Border is determined by the combined Defeat Lv. of the Battle Hexes and Boss Hexes you defeated in relation to the threshold for each Border. The higher the total level, the higher the Border you can achieve.
*The Defeat Lv. for undefeated bosses will be treated as 0.
*Your total Defeat Lv. is the combined total of the 2 highest Defeat Lv. Battle Hexes and highest Defeat Lv. Boss Hex defeated during the event.
Furthermore, the Defeat Lv. required to reach each Border will change based on the combined Defeat Lv. of all players participating in the event. As the combined Defeat Lv. for of all participating players increases, the threshold for each Border will increase accordingly.

You can check your current Border and the threshold for each Border at any time in the Pirate King Adventures event. When the event ends, your final Border will be determined based on the aggregated results, allowing you to earn rewards.
*Border Challenge rewards are scheduled to be distributed by Mail after the Pirate King Adventures event has ended.
*The first Border Challenge will be held as a trial as a part of the current Pirate King Adventures with reduced rewards compared to what will be standard. They are scheduled to be increased starting with the Border Challenges held after the update.

●Event Special Effect “Damage Limit Break” Added to the Pirate King Adventures!
In the Pirate King Adventures, if your crew consists of certain characters when the battle starts, a Damage Limit Break value will be added as a special effect within the event!
This special effect is planned to be added to all Pirate King Adventures held after the update.

●Advancing from an Usopp Hex to a Luffy Hex Triggers an Additional Effect!
If you reach a Luffy Hex while the bonus effects “Favorites Used 6” or “Favorites Used 9” from an Usopp Hex are active, an additional event will occur.
Additional events allow you to further lower a boss’s HP.
This additional effect is planned to be added to all Pirate King Adventures held after the update.

●”Edit Crew” Button Added!
An “Edit Crew” button has been added to the Pirate King Adventures home screen.
You can now check your crew formation and Quest Guide at any time, so be sure to take full advantage of it!

Looking Back on 12 Years + Planned Future Updates

Next, let’s take a look back at these past 12 years and go over future updates we have planned.

●Looking Back on 12 Years
With the support of all OPTC users, we were able to celebrate our 12th anniversary on May 12th. So once again, we’d like to express our gratitude to you all!
For the 12th Anniversary, we introduced Imu to the game, as well as the New Four Emperors, whose illustrations take up the whole screen as Super Big Art Characters! We hope you also enjoyed the addition of new content like Duel and various campaigns such as The 12th Anniversary! Make it Your Sugo-Fest!!
In order to continue to provide an enjoyable experience for all users, we plan to take into account the surveys carried out during the anniversary period for the development and management of the game moving forward.
In particular, we have received a lot of feedback on the newly added Duel.
We are considering various improvements based on the feedback provided and plan to announce them at a later date.
We will be releasing in-game notices regarding the feedback we’ve received on other events and requested features, so we kindly ask for your patience.

●Future Planned Updates
Here is some follow-up information about our update plans.

・Regarding Main Story Additions
As we mentioned in the previous Letter, we plan on adding to the Main Story starting from the Land of Wano Arc.

・Regarding the Pirate Rumble Update
As previously noted, we are exploring ways to make the game more accessible and to enable users of similar skill levels to compete more effectively against one another.

・Regarding Expansion of the Sort Function
We received a great deal of feedback concerning the Sort Function, so we plan to expand it.
More specifically, we plan to make it possible to filter by Captain Ability, Auto+ Effect, Assault Rumble Stats, Support Stats (Not Powered Up), and more.

We also plan to add a function that allows switching between ascending and descending order.
