Today, we’d like to share some information on the upcoming Ver.16.2 update.

As previously noted, in this update, we’re planning to make Pirate Rumble more accessible and to enable users of similar skill levels to compete more effectively against one another.
We’re also sharing a promo code that can be redeemed on the Web Store to claim free Rainbow Gems, so be sure to read until the end!

Regarding Update Ver.16.2

First, let’s talk about the update.
The Ver.16.2 update is scheduled to be implemented on Monday, October 19th (PST)!
The update will include the content listed below.

●Rumble Battle Report Added!
A Rumble Battle Report will be added to the Pirate Rumble results screen!
Players will be able to check the performance of characters that took part in battle!
Players can not only check characters’ damage dealt and healed, but also their contributions through the application of buffs and debuffs. Reference this info when editing your team and preparing for your next battle!

*A Rumble Battle Report can only be viewed on its corresponding battle results screen.
*The report will not be saved after exiting the results screen.

●Faster Fast Toggle Stages Added!
Faster Fast Toggle Stages will be added to Pirate Rumble battle speed settings!
Players will be able to enjoy faster-paced Pirate Rumble battles.

●Change Order for GP Team Added!
A Change Order feature will be added to the Pirate Rumble GP Team edit screen, making it easier to rearrange positions in your team.
Players will be able to rearrange their team without having to reselect characters, making it easier to adjust GP Teams.

As part of the Pirate Rumble update, we plan to add and improve the following features in the Ver.16.2.2 update scheduled for Thursday, November 5th (PST)!

●Group Rankings Added!
In future Pirate Rumbles, separate from the Qualification Block Total Rankings, we plan to add Group Rankings for players of similar skill levels to compete in.
At the start of each season, your rank in the group will be based on past results.
Ranks will be split into a total of 18 levels, with players of the same rank competing against one another for a higher placement.
Players are divided into groups of around 100 players within each rank based on skill level, and players’ rankings within the group will determine their Group Rankings.
During the Qualification Block phase, players will have a higher chance of matching with others in their group, allowing players of similar skill levels to compete with one another.
Depending on your place in the Group Rankings, you’ll earn Championship Pts which are required to advance to the Championship. The higher your ranking, the more Championship Pts you earn!
Please note that Group Rankings will only apply during the Qualification Block phase.
Just like previously, players will be matched with others who qualified during the Championship, regardless of their group.

●Championship Qualification to Be Based on Championship Pts!
We plan to change the Championship qualification requirement to a Championship Pts Format.
In this new Championship Pts Format, players will accumulate Championship Pts from each Qualification Block. Once they reach a certain number of points, they will advance to the Championship.
Players can still earn Championship Pts to get more Championship Rewards after they’ve qualified for the Championship!

*Championship Pts can be earned even after the Qualification Block has ended.
*Ranks will be determined at the start of the season and will not change during the season.
*Championship Pts can also be earned by placing high in the Total Rankings.
*Players can earn the Championship Pts required to qualify for the Championship through Group Rankings or by placing within a certain rank in the Total Rankings, just like before.
*Please check the Help section after Pirate Rumble Group Rankings are implemented for details about the increase to Championship Rewards.

●The Special Effect “Damage Limit Break” Will Be Added to Certain Characters in Kizuna Clash!
During any Kizuna Clashes held after the Ver.16.2 update on Monday, October 19th (PST), certain applicable characters will have the special effect Damage Limit Break added!

Include the applicable characters in your crew and take on Kizuna Clash to activate the special effects!

In addition to the content introduced here, we aim to continue improving various features in order to make OPTC an even more enjoyable experience.

Planned Future Updates

We would like to inform everyone about the updates and changes to the information we have previously shared.

●Regarding Main Story Additions
Before the Ver.16.2 update, as of Saturday, October 3rd (PST), Main Story featuring the Land of Wano Arc was added.
It will continue to be updated periodically.

●Better Deals on the Web Store!
The product lineup in the Web Store will expand, and you’ll be able to get good deals on products there.
The purchase limit for certain items will be shared between the in-game shop and the Web Store.
Certain products, including those previously sold only in the in-game shop, will be available for purchase for a better deal through the Web Store.

●Revealing Certain Future Updates!
Although the timing has yet to be decided, we would like to share more details regarding some planned future updates.

・Regarding the Cleared Crew Copy Update
As previously announced, we plan to gradually implement this feature to Treasure Map, Kizuna Clash, and other events.

We also have other updates in the works, including some based on requests we received in our surveys!
More details will be announced through future Letters from the OPTC Team and in-game notices, so we hope you look forward to them!
